Bienvenue à Paris

One of the most beautiful cities is Paris. Although I’d heard so many good things about it, there was nothing compared to visiting and experiencing it first hand.

I stayed for 3 days, and had created an itinerary just for that. So much to do and see. From CDG airport, one could get to Paris in about 20 minutes via the RER trains. Once in Paris, the metro is the prefered means of getting from point A to B. First stop of course was the Eiffel tower. This landmark is Paris. It could be seen basically from most places in the city.

Day 2.

I spent most of the afternoon in Latin Quarters – boulevard St. Germain. A vibrant and chic neighborhood, filled with boutiques, cafes and everything Paris.

A little further down the blvd is the renowned cathedral of Notre Dame.

Other nearby places of interests are the Pantheon and Jardin du Luxembourg

The highlights of the night were the long walk down avenue des Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and Musee de  Louvre.

Day 3.

Spent most of the day on boulevard St. Michel, and the night visiting Montmartre and of course the Moulin Rouge.
